Cam Sensor Crack

So I put in a Dynatek Programmable ignition module in the nosecone of my 04 chopper and when I pulled the cam sensor I noticed a crack in the potting material holding the sensor in. Had very strange problems riding in the summer when it was hot. Cruising along at highway speed and bike would start backfiring to the point on stalling out. Could have been related? Cam sensor is history now but you may want to check it before you condemn your EHC.

Yep - they don't happen often, but I've had one fail on the 2004 bulldog.

Thank you Slider. My K9 has been in shops, both BDM and independent, since last June trying to get that same problem fixed. I will let the current shop know about that next week. :2thumbs: Mine also has a small crack but Orange County Big Dog said it was OK. I wish I could buy you a drink.
