Cam install?

So I have had an S&S 600 cam and 640 springs sitting in my garage for probably a year and half and have wanted to install. I thought I had seen, maybe on the old forum, a step by step instructional on installing the new cam. Does anybody know if or where this can be found? I think that part I can handle with the step by step.
As for the spring changeout, is that where I will need a shop to use a compression machine to put the springs in?
And for adjusting the pushrods, I am also good with the step by step I found on this forum from ChaCha.

Most spring swaps are done with the heads off the bike. I did what you are doing to my 05 Pitbull and changed the springs with the heads on the bike. It was a bitch and I don't think i would do it like that again.
