Cam ID

I just replaced my cam with the S&S 600, that said, I would like to konw if anyone can identify the cam I removed. No brand name on it, no number stamp on the lobe as with the S&S. Markings are as follows: On gear face:Stamped 42759 and 3001GR Acid etched on face:30-4000 UP6453-05 On the lobe facing the inner bearing is an "N"

Any ideas

since S&S is not stamped on it and considering your year bike i would say crane cam...possibly the 569 that they used in 05 and early 06...what rocker boxes do you have?

I bought the bike a few years ago with 1000 miles on it, has S&S boxes on it.

That's a 569 Comp Cam!

Thx Brad. The 600 is a much better cam for my style of riding, not a parade cam but I don't do parades.

Just want to make note to anyone reading this thread or doing a cam upgrade regarding the oil pump drive gear.... when re-installing make sure the orientation of the oil pump drive gear has the chamfer facing the flywheels ....
