Wanted to know from you guys if there are any cool options for a nice chrome billet cam covers other than the standard S&S or standard knock off?

I don't want a 2 piece flange one, just a nice billet chrome piece.

I already have one of those non chromed. Forgot to mention I need it to have the open nose for the ignition. Otherwise, I'd jsut get my current one chromed.

you could do something like engraving on a standard one Gas. just a thought. something that I've thought of before. don't know what i would do but just a thought.

That would be ok, but its mostly covered by the exhaust. I would just prefer to not have to drop over 4 bills on a S&S chrome one if all I'm paying for is the S&S name. But on the flip side, I don't want some junk either.

Well I'm going to go with a JIMS Performence Chromed Billet cover. A bit pricey but well worth it for billet & chrome, plus I love the way it covers the bolt holes and wiring.

But it looks like it wouldn't be thru Jims. They require a 25 piece order.

Maybe some engraving?

Gas - Alltec Engraving (863) 984-2145 is excellent. Don't have bike here, so can't post pics now. He engraved my axle covers and lazer cut (cut through) a tribal flame on my belt guard.

The covers were $125 for the pair and it and turn around time was 3 days.

Side Bar - Yeah, I'm pissed about BD changing the point covers on 06 because you can't change them to a stock HD cover / the diameter is different. Then a couple of days ago I noticed the 08's are one piece and no point cover at all. Just limits what you can do in terms of custom.

Hey Lambo, can you post some pics of yours, mainly your belt guard?
Thanks,
