Cam/Carb Exchange!

I have an '05 BDM Chopper w/ the "E" carb and 569 cam; while my wife has an '05 APC 280 High Roller w/ the "G" carb and 600 cam. Her bike has "kick ass" torque compared to my bike. I'm thinking of having the cams and carbs exchanged between bikes. Any knowlegeable techs have any advice or thoughts on this?

Head swap = GTG
Carb = GTG
Cam = GTG
Piston/barrel change = GTG

Not good to go:

Head = Only
Cam = Only
Valve tags your pistons = N/G!

Why not just upgrade yours and leave hers as is:confused:Looks like the labor costs could offset the material costs.

Sounds like someone has a crush and a little jealousy going on... Hahaha. Seriously you shouldn't tamper with her bike she deserves it, especially since it runs great. Just upgrade your motor, that way both of you can enjoy your nice bikes and you'll be happier at the end of the day.

Thanks for the input,but the bike has a li'l too much power for her (S&S 117),according to her also! The power of my bike would be much better suited for her. She rides bitch when she wants to drink and my bike could use a bit more "umph" under throttle riding 2 up! I'm an American Legion Rider out of Post 109 (Corona De Tucson,AZ) and appreciate your help.

Too simple. It will never work. OR...

Change seat, handlebars, beer pegs. She is back to riding hers: seats are lighter than engines. OR...

Sweetie, close your eyes I bought you a new bike and you put a bow on your bike, she gets used to yours, you get used to hers and if you two have an excuse for swapping...

I have a great S&S 117 with only 8k miles...just want to add power to mine,but at same time make her happy and make hers more rideable for her. entire motor exchange might be a possibility over cam/carb exchange.

My wife,s bike is a bobber with a 120 cu motor and my K9 117 cu so who have the most power my wife , but she stay alway,s behind the dog .:up:
