Need some recommendations for really good chrome companies. While Ed's doing my totally wicket paint job, I'm going to go CHROME WHORE.

Browns in Paducah, KY is suppose to be some of the best. I have heard they will not chrome wheels anymore though. Also, Nashville plating is good. Last I heard, most chrome shops had a long waiting list. Also, check with Jake, (bmridgback), he has a friend doing the spray chrome that is suppose to be considerably cheaper.

Browns in Ky is the best. They have been around forever (like since the 70's I think), and have done more chroming on Nationally recognized Hot Rod Cars and Bikes than anyone. They are expensive, but they are worth it, and offer a guarantee on their work.

My Ridgeback parts were chromed by Meclec in California 2 years ago and I have had no issues. My dealer states BDM is using Meclec as well.

All my Chrome was done at Meclec that my dealer used down in San Diego where they had a chrome exchange. I take my bike in for service say for the front forks. While they are removed from the bike I say put those chrome trees on and you save on the installation charge. Wish more dealers did a chrome exchange. Can't get my local dealer to do this.

I did fender brackets, axle covers, triple trees, speedo bucket/bracket, clutch cable clamps, cam cover plate and more. No issues with Meclec's quality.
