I was talking the dog out for the first time this season today and noticed there was a lot of play at the closed end of the throttle, so I went figuring it was just sticky from sitting then a block away out pops my return cable dangling!:bang: I'm guessing theres no way to fix that but to replace the entire cable which doesn't seem available on the parts site BDM150-00012...SO PISSED Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

also check to make sure the cable is broke and didn't just work its way out of the ferrell
I was thinking that but I haven't taken it apart yet and I don't ever remember seeing a removable one. I'm assuming that since I see the cable end that it broke. Either way I need to get out the tools and pull apart that housing.

It is a removable ferrell. They would be difficult to fall out of the ferrell, I would think most likely the cable broke. Probably just stiff from sitting and pop :spank:

i have just had the same problem, but it was my idle cable that broke at the bottom, i tried a repair but the cable kept sticking. so i got new barnett cables from the local harley stealer at NZ $100 each !!!! 85 cents = $1 usa. just got to fit them now and enjoy the late hot weather were having down here before i strip her down for winter.
