Shannon came by Saturday morning to help solve a couple of issues with my bagger, He took the right hand control apart and found a bad brake switch, I found this “bushing” on the floor after he left. Does anyone have a diagram of where this goes.21F2CE3D-4450-455F-8A02-E24B485CD010.jpeg

Knows some things
Finish the story. I set it on the running board so it wouldn't get lost, before I put it back together. Thanks for picking it up and putting it in a bag.

One of the old ones.
I have found several of those laying on the floor around the shop—always AFTER I purchased replacements and reassembled the throttle cables.....haha
I just bought a few spares to keep handy.

Those ferrules are a little nice to keep a spare or two if you ever take trips in your tool roll. You never know when you might need one, but you can bet if you ever have to take your hand control apart on the road those ferrules are rolling away....lol

Hey guys I need a little help with the Ferrules. I am replacing my right hand control pcb . When Putting it back together and installing the ferrules like the one above . Can you tell me it the end of the ferrule you see in the pic above is supposed to be facing outward towards the grip or inward, Or does it matter.

Thanks for any help.

I don't think it matters, but I always put the slotted end in the saddle first. It sort of blocks off the slot and helps keep the cable from popping out as you slide it through the saddle.

Thanks, I found a video on Youtube with a tech working on a Harley and he put them in with the slot facing towards the grip so thats what I did.
