My 06 k9 starting to burn head lights at the rate of 1 every 2hrs of use, I notice that the blue light in the speedo was blinking fast, I lifted the seat and notice the metal box with the led's was also blinking (red), I took the light bulb of and connector thinking it was a bad connection, but even with the wires not touching anything the blue and red lights still blink.
You guys have always gave me good points on how to or where to.
By the way where I live is temp is 68, make matters worse it my birthday

The "metal box" is the EHC... its lights tell you what is in fault.... The Blue light in the speedo is the High Beam Light... it will flash when your low beam burns out.

The jack where the light bulb plugs in: Does it look burned? many go tits up and most of us went with the ceramic (High Temp) ones.

Start looking into the easy stuff.

Here some info for you re the EHC: HOW TO READ YOUR EHC LIGHTS

Just thinking..... the "Metal Box" your talking about.... does it have just one red led and it is square (not rectangular)??? then its not the EHC... it is the Ignition Module... and yes, it´s supposed to blink.

PICS????
