OK--I have spent too much time with Razorback and have been fired up by the Baggers....looking at a 2010 Bulldog Bagger. I'm also looking for advice from you guys who know about them. I think I'd really like the bike but have a couple of reservations.
First off: Touring. Bulldog Baggers are short on cargo space for riding solo on long tours. If the bike had a sissy bar, I could hang a T-bag on it so it rests on the passenger seat like on the K9. But I'm not finding any BBagger sissy bars anywhere.
Second is the bulbous two up seat.....It would be good to find a solo seat as an option.

Q#1: Anybody know of where to find a sissy bar (with frame mount kit) for this bike? Or maybe somebody has fabricated one? Mr. Wright?

Q#2: I have seen picture of a Bulldog Bagger that had a solo seat with a backrest. I have not found any solo seats except for the early Bulldogs, and none had a backrest. Anybody know anything about seat fitment on these bikes?

Did you find a BD Bagger? I believe there is one at Gateway in St. Louis. And you know I can make anything you want, stop on by and we'll get er done. I'm going to make a solo seat back rest for Sniper's( Gary) K9. He was the big guy with me last weekend

You can probably have a double seat made into a solo, but what would you set the pack on?

They sure are nice!!! Would you get rid of the StreetGlide or just add the bagger to the stable?

Just thought there was a really nice red one that a guy built in Wichita had zero miles on it and a few folks on here knew the builder. If I recall the asking price was $20K which seemed very fair as I've seen used ones listed for that or more. He would also know about sissy bar options as well I would assume.

Thanks, Shannon. The bagger I spotted is in MI. If I decide to go with the bagger, I'll definitely be making a day visit out your way. Gotta decide by Thursday....
Wouldn't be interested in that bike without additional cargo capacity, but it seems possible--see the photo of one of the mount plates.
That cruise across southern MO on Rte 60 is truly beautiful this time of year......
I'd be interested to see how you are designing a backrest on a K9 seat. What year is it? The flatter '06-07, or the bolster type of the '08 and newer?

I'd use the solo for touring less than a week or so. In summer you can travel lighter.....

Wifey likes the SG, so we'd probably sell the K9 and keep the Harley.

That bike kicks ass, and the guy was apparently a 10 year Tech for Big Dog, so I'm sure it is properly assembled. I have concerns with a non-BDM title, and a Bagger with the 117" engine as opposed to the correct 111". But a zero miles bike is for sure attractive......and that price is definitely reasonable.

I haven't gave it much thought yet. I need to finish his other bike first, the were going to add some graphics, redo his foot pegs and back rest sometime this winter.

The web page. Has the bagger on it. Not sure if Greg wants to sell it ,my best friend bought his anniversary bagger and he built a sissy bar and new seat for it. Gateway BDM

Saw the silver one on their webpage and fogured it was eye candy, but that was apparently the bike in question. I called them and finally this afternoon called again and was told 'we're going to keep it for a while'...whatever that means.
Felt like being put out with them until I remembered that no one ever said it was actually for sale...fooey! Gorgeous bike--killer paint job, open primary , custom shifter, and God only knows what else....sure don't blame a guy for wanting to keep it....

There was a guy that posted one not to long ago, I don't remember if he was selling it or not. Anyone remember who that was. Help me look for that post.

I have a Bagger and they ARE very short on space in the bags. You will need either a sissy bar luggage rack or a two up seat to put a bag on for more than a weekend trip. In my situation, the stock 2 up seat was a no bueno for the wife! I contacted Mustang Seats and they were good enough to pull the original pattern they had out and custom make me a 2 up with driver backrest. My point is they MIGHT have a pattern for a solo seat for the Bagger. Hope this helps and good luck in your search.

Well that's interesting, that stock seat does look uncomfortable especially for a passenger.

Did someone just put on some custom bags that were slightly larger on their bike? I recall someone recently selling the stock hard bags. I think finding a shop to modify the stock bags to make them deeper would look nice and be more functional.

Thanks, Sixpack..that is good to know. Wifey will want me to keep the Harley SG for 2 up touring, she is spoiled....so the Bagger will be for solo touring, and traveling light. The prospect do a good looking solo seat is a good deal.
Those are really nice bags on Larry's bike, Jwooky....thanks for the post.
Definitely will be looking to get the sissy bar and maybe a luggage rack.
If I buy that Bulldog Bagger, that is.

I wonder if we can get a completed picture.....I do like the rounded top of the BDM Bags as the curve ties in with the fenders, thats why I was wondering if you could just have someone extend them with a resin/carbon fiber. You would have to run short pipes
