Builders Gear Set?

Can the complete gear set on a Baker RSD be removed via the trap door while the case is still in the frame or does the case need to be put in a press?

Thanks

Tranny's holding up but the cam/rollers/ignition took a crap on me. All started with a small oil leak on the braided lines going into the cooler. BDM didn't use a separator and the lines eventually rubbed a small hole into one of the lines. Should be out this week...Ignition had issues with the connections behind the unit which took forever for my guy to diagnose. From here on out, I'm probably one of the few and proud that can say I've experienced almost everything.

Matter of fact just pulled mainshaft and countershaft out last night. For the second time. Both times with the case bolted to the frame. Make that 3 times, i did it again in my sleep last night.

Does it take a special puller to get the gears out while the case is still in the frame?

Oh, That's a bold statement -- Have you snapped a strut bolt yet (one to the frame not the fender), how 'bout snapping a bolt on the extended forward controls at 65?
Plus EHC that didn't like cold (actually started it once using 1 gallon of hot water!
Lost throwout bearing.
Snapped rear belt at idle no less!
I could go on as I'm sure you could!

And don't even start me with crap from the old ride!
