Loaned the bike to my single son for a week.

now question is what happened?
1. simple fatigue
2. jumped curbs with a full tank
3.had fat girl on the tank

Single male ..tell him the chick he picked up exceeded the weight limit on the bike haha.

That's what I was told when I broke a bolt on my bike!

I thinks it's all your fault. Clearly, you didn't do a whole bike inspection prior to loaning out your bike. Your son could've been killed by your negligence. Consider yourself lucky and get your bike in tip top shape prior to loaning it out. :):oldhardlaugh::oldhardlaugh::oldhardlaugh:

Don't you just hate it when you borrow something and find that the owner has neglected the borrowed item:)

I know lots of things have changed over the years. But, I thought that letting someone ride your Big Dog was like letting someone have sex with your better half! And, for a whole week? I've got to throw the flag and think "Incest"!:oldhardlaugh::oldhardlaugh::oldhardlaugh:

There are the exceptions such as buying, selling, group ride, etc

I'll vote all 3.
But just for reference, Gabe's 04 Pit, has broke that mount several times in the last few years. Weld keeps breaking.
My 04 broke the left rear mount. Cracked the tank when it went. Started leaking gas on the rear head!. Be careful out there.

wow, that wouldn't be good, maybe a peanut tank is in order, my old sportster has one .
several advantages to the 2.2 gallons,
1 less weight
2 never has cracked due to the vibration of the solid mount engine
