jimizee,it takes the place of the original solenoid cover and has a push rod type button that you push and manually push the solenoid to engage the starter.mc advantages emailed me the templates for the three styles they make to make sure which one fits.the one for the big dog fit my 04.you do have to push it in alittle hard to over come the spring but its cake.never left me with a tow bill except when the head gaskets blew.
I agree!!!! But I'm fucked up on Rays Beam!!!:2thumbs:

I'm home guys. Long day in the saddle today but no rain just lots of massive winds. Picked up cold in Montana during that long ride in the rain and hail. Snotted my face mask up all day. Everytime I stopped for gas I first had to blow all that shit out. Sucks to be sick on the road.

But, finally home and my old dog has been "Rode hard and put away wet". :D:cheers::2thumbs:

I hear Dakotabos road home 1000 miles none stop.:eek:

Ray, after you rest up, let us know if you think the rain and wet conditions somehow caused your battery to fail (seems like it should have lasted longer than that (I'm really not a fan of battery tender, just ride often to keep things charged like a car, I replaced last fall a Harley battery in my Springer which was new 2000 I think and no tender, Lasted 8 years! ).

Glad you made it home OK (the old body knows when it's stressed)! We gotta ride together soon (maybe next yr for Redwood, Run 21, or sturgis) JUST order up some sunshine!
