Broke Battery plate... Again

so this is really starting to piss me off. This is the second time within a month and a half that I have broken a plate in the battery. Both were brand new batteries. Once I get over 90 miles an hour it seems to vibrate enough that it breaks a plate. They are the Interstate Batteries. Brand new. Both broke. And left me stranded both times. Any thoughts on reasons why? Besides the obvious reason of vibration. How to fix..... Rubber mount Battery box n pad Battery? May try my lithium Battery n see if that helps.... Frustrating!

I had a friend with an 05 ridge that was having the same problem. We put a rubber pad under it. I can't say for sure it fixed the problem, but he didn't have any more problems till he sold it. Sorry, I don't remember just how long that was.

My bike is way older than yours but I noticed that the tie down strap had become hard and lost its elasticity and did not really stretch and hold the battery tight any more. Got a new one from Curtis.

my experience with interstate batteries was (2) that both left me stranded. returned the first for an exchange and then the second one left me stranded also, within a week of each other. peeled the label off and underneath their 320 cca statement was a yuasa label stating 270 cca. was not a happy camper.

get an Absorbed Glass Matt battery (AGM). They are more expensive, but the plates won't break and they will never leak. You can get them at the Interstate battery store, but you have to ask for it, I guess they are used to people coming in for the cheapest thing they have.
