make sure the ball and ramp are working properly or you may end up pulling on it way to hard and it may snap. is the new cable a Barnett? they will stand behind it. did you pull the pushrod and clean it up real good and lube it? did you get the lever adjusted to where the gap at the heal of the lever is the thickness of a dime?
