Well, at least you're happy go lucky like me....I have two trans sitting on my shelf, rebuilt by Andrew, less than 5k on them BEFORE rebuild....lol....RSD

I have a lead on one in Whicita off a fresh rebuild, Ive talked to Andrew as well and might just send it North. He's done my LSD a few years back now it's my RSD.

Also, will PROBABLY be installing a 124" diamond cut into a 2007 Mastiff-will video.....my Pastor neighbor bought a Sportster 883, we will be video taping the upgrade to 1250 on my channel, won't post it here since it's not a DOG....the two engines, well, it's a spoiler if I say anything....keep watching.....they are both mine....one S&S rockers, other TP rockers....I'm PRO TP, love the look and if done right.....no issues.....will completely disassemble top and bottom end and video, but only for you Eric.....

Marc... Could you expand on your comment "I'm PRO TP...". I have read so much on hear where they say get rid of them, even without reason? Bought my '06 K9 new and have 25K+ miles on it without issue with the TPs. Thanks!

You just answered your own question with 25,000 miles on your bike, didn't you? No issues right?

Lots of discussions on here that say TPs cause issues, go with S&S heads.....well, I have worked on and have many, many friends with TP heads that have never had any issues, I've never understood it and stay out of those debates. If it's put together and done correctly, no issues. I've heard and seen many S&S heads tick and clatter as well, again, depends on many variables....

Again, I'm helping @Zach Brown build a 2008 pitbull rolling chassis....we already put ridgeback handlebars on it, looks a lot meaner, but we are putting a 117" S&S TP on it as well that I bought and am rebuilding for him to make it more unique......

I'm waiting to hear back from this guy in KS should be today. He wants my old one in trade, so will save me a few bucks but I might give you a shout in a few days.

Make sure it has the upgraded shaft in it. Plus, Andrew uses timken bearings....as I do on everything I do too....I know you know....lol

And spares are good too.....

Haha ..yep upgraded main shaft and SKF bearings...spares are good I have a lot of extra parts and not as much cash. But it is tempting...I'll keep us posted
