3600 miles..that's all I did was the pads.and the Allen bolts in the pulley to chrome

Might be handy to sync that with tire change those pads sure did wear out fast.

The issue was the guy who owned it before me only used the back brake and it's a lot of bike to stop 9 1/2 feet and a lot of motor

Holy cow he must have rode the brakes unless the caliber is not shimmed/centered on the rotor. Were both brakes like that? Inner and outter

No I got the caliber shimmed right..all the pads were wore even

Caliber is a word used to describe the degree of something. Perhaps, something like, " The people who participate in this Big Dog Biker forum are of the highest "CALIBER'' in regard to their knowledge and humor. (or something like that)

It's the size of the bore of gun barrel ie 9mm, .45, 2.23/5.56, .300 Blackout, .22 as examples.

Just messin with ya buddy! And, I'm glad ya got that bike away from the previous owner who only used the rear brake. He's lucky he didn't kill himself doin that. Or worse, break a real nice lookin scooter !! Stay Safe Friend

Replaced mine on K9 around 20.000 i quess, at the same time I replaced -03's at about 2500 after my first ride from Wichita those being originals, 11 years old, they blew so much brake dust the whole rear was black.

And of course you can easily have an extended conversation regarding the stopping power of various calibers as well.
For my money the 9mm will do if the need ever arises.

I still got the OE pads on my 04 ..14k miles still look new.

Please tell me you didn't get the 04 new and 13yrs later only have a little more than 1k/yr -- that's dog abuse -- got to take them out and let them run.
