A good majority of the members here are replacing their brake pads with Lydell's. They come in several models and the most popular are the Z-Pads and Gold pads. I've used the Z-pads since I first bought my 03 Mastiff and have them on my 05 Chopper. The first thing you will find is they are quieter than your stock pads. You can hear your stock ones when you come to a stop sign, a soft brushing sound. Most of this will be eliminated with the Lydell pads. There are other pads on the market too that are good but thought I would post this article I found in my tool-box last night copied from an article in "Easyrider". Installation is so easy that you don't need pics but if I find some I will update.

I'll update with the stock number soon when I find it. It will fit most of your models that have the Performance Machine brakes.

Respectable outfit. I web-ordered the Z-Plus and they called me the next day to say that it was on a 10 day back-order. Asked if it was OK to sent the Gold version at the same price....hell ya!

Good pads....

I just put the Z Plus on my '03 Chopper about a month ago. Man what a difference, no more noise or dirty wheels and they perform alot better. For PM 4 piston brakes the part number is 7182 Z Plus. I would definately recommend this performance upgrade and the best part is, it cost me less than $100 to do it myself!
