On the 03's and probably older, have seen one of them, those relays unplug from the EHC unit. The rest of it is ok, we just narrowed it down to that part.
Yea, was just wondering if it's commercially available outside of some one having a spare unit? I would think it's a standard electronic Relay that can be ordered from an online source. Should have a serial number stamped on it, I would imagine.
Just trying to help him save some money.
Can he just pop the cover off and take a pic for us??

Anybody out there has a old ehc ? For 03, doesn't have to be good, just need to get brake relay ( J3) off of it. Haven't ridden in 1 month, and I'm dying to get back out on road.
