Brake lights

Hello I have a Husky 2003 , my problem is with the bike that my breaklights stay on and my left and right signal don,t work,in the rear only.
Have somebody a ide for me.

hey bro,i dont know alot about the 03 but sounds like maybe a brale light switch is stuck or maybe bad.thats where i would start looking.good luck.the mobsta

On the 03 models the wiring harness wound it's way inside the fender and was a common occurance for the tire to rub it and wear out/ground the wires. Check it out.

Also check the small grounded bracket that holds the bulb in place isn't loose. These can work loose and cause a bad ground since the ground wire is attached with the screw that holds the bulb holder in place....If that makes sense? Just pull the cover off and you'll see two small screws, check to see they are tight. had the same prob with my 02 Pitbull and tightened the screws and Voila!

Instead of starting a new thread, My brake lights (04 Pitbull) stay on constantly (LED) , the turning signals work fine. I should have checked the wires when I replaced my rear tire, I just did not think of doing it, the problem has been going on since before I replaced my tire.

check the hand brake magnet,may have to readjust it,or maybe rear switch stuck

just pulled the hand brake. adjusted the allen and no resolve. next step pulled both back led's and cleaned them with di-electric no resolve. I am looking at the wires and the right turn signal mesh covering is slightly worn looks like the tire may have rubbed I cannot tell if it wore through to the wires. what sucks is I just replaced my rear tire but I was so focused on the tire change that I did not think to check the wires. this has been an ongoing thing.

you probably can lift the fender to check the wires or disconnect the plug to the rt side and see if the left brake lite goesout,then you will know if its the rt side wiring and vice versa

I plan on doing that man, the bike has been running great. I may pull the whole harness to see if there is a problem in that part. I hate to say I really enjoy fixing this bike man I have learned so much from the forumn and the awesome members within. Mobsta, Eric, Gas and all those with their help troubleshooting. Most of it self imposed
