Brake Lights Permanently On

While I had custom rear wheel spacers made, the mechanic told me my rear brake sensor was bad and he replaced it. One month later, my brake lights are permanently on. If I replace the brake sensor on the rear caliper, should this fix it?

Thanks

Check to make sure the magnet in the front brake switch didn't vibrate loose and turn the lights on. It takes an .050 Allen wrench to adjust the clearance.

Where exactly is that in the housing? That was the only thing I didn't do on my rebuild, was replace the hand controls.....seemed like way too much of a pain in the ass, so I had the mechanic do it while he made me custom spacers.

The rear wheel brake sensor is a hose banjo fitting type sensor back on rear caliper hose connection best I can recall on an 05.

Happened to me 3 weeks ago. It was the magnet that wasn't aligned properly in the hand control

It's in the right hand control. You have to take it apart to see the set screw.
