brake light switch???????

hello everyone went for ride tonight and my brake light wont come on when i use my foot brake but it will when i use my hand brake im thinking its my switch for the foot brake but i dont know where it is my bike is a 2000 pro sport and it has thunderheart forward controls any help would be great thanks for your help

follow your wires from your tail lights1?? that is all I can offer on you model yr as I have never even seen one

Usually on an older bike you can find the swtich by starting at the rear caliper. Follow the brake line going to the front of the bike. Evo style is round about 1 1/2" diameter. You'll see wires going to it.

some switches are the banjo bolt on the rear caliper itself.

thanks for your help i found it right in the middle of the bike all i had to do is follow the fluid line to the switch went to hd and got one 15 bucks the ride today was good thankyou all for your help
