brake light not working ?

the brake lights do not work with my front hand brake, it only works with the rear foot brake, i see no wires from the hand grip, does anyone know how i can fix this problem,??

Was it like that when you got it?
Did you remove the hand control?
Did you do anything to it at all?

Many threads here on the front brake issues pertaining to the magnet in there. If you took the controls apart then you or the previous owner may have lost the magnet or pinched the wire int here.

Ok, when you squeeze the lever does it look like it will make contact? Shouldn't be more than a couple cm. Also the thickest wire in there attaches the front circuit board to this switch. Does it look damaged/pinched?
If you dont see contact being made with the magnet you will need to adjust it. It has a small set screw on it. Otherwise you may need a new circuit board/card if the wire is not damaged.
