Brake Fluid 2006 Pitbull

I searched the forums and it seems as though the 06 Pitbull may use DOT5 brake fluid. Is this the case? I removed my front reservoir cap and the fluid is a very light tan color best I could tell. Fluid is new in the last year. Almost clear really. Any suggestions? TIA!

Dot 5 ONLY! Not 5.1. 5 only. Soak up the old and refill from a new bottle. They proud of the stuff too. Always pricy.

Our brake fluid turns clear when it’s introduced to air. I would look for a leak as well.
