I need the brake caliper model number for the PM 4 piston front brake used on the 2006+ bikes. I bought a new black reverse cut from pm but it doesnt fit. PM told me there are a few models. It has to fit the 11.5 inch rotor.

Oh well, that means I would have to take it off and apart to look on the inside cause there are no numbers stamped on the outside. Sorry

gotcha. thanks anyway. The Black contrast cut (That I bought) has it stamped on the bottom. The one I have is 0052-2413 12080002

Oddly enough, my price pages are not like any other. Everything is in code that I can't follow. I just call them and let them know what I am looking for.

BDM's used the "Classic" style. 0052-2503-(finish, i.e. chrome, polish, etc.)......don't spend money on this number but should be right. Just ask for tech and they will get you squared away.

For future reference, if you ever need any help with PM products, I am a dealer and can help you out.

Thanks Mick, I did call and speak to the tech dept. but didnt have the caliper I bought on hand for the number. The the 2003 choppers used the Classic with bracket but the 2000+ are a direct bolt on. So you're saying the 2006+k9s used the Classic direct bolt on???
i will keep you in mind for the parts when I find the right fit.

There is only 1 model in the line-up that used different brake pads and that was the 2010 Bulldog and that was only on one of the calipers. I believe that is a differential bore style. Again, not saying I am right by any means, just offering the info I have to try and help.

So a lot of you guys know that this 2003 chopper with 2006 k9 lower forks thing has been kicking my ass. Still don't have a fender yet ( I think the mounts for the k9 fenders are at different heights than that of the chopper. so I'll need to find the mounting brackets that bolt to the fender itself from a k9.)

Any way So it turns out PM modified the the brake calipers specifically for the big dogs. Not too much though. Big dog requested to have their calipers drilled and tapped with a standard 3/8 where as stock from PM is a metric size also they Big Dog said to not supply banjo bolts as they could get them somewhere else cheaper. Anyway so if you ever up grade to new PM calipers make certain to use the accompanying hardware. PM part number for the BDM's is 0053-2919

So now gotta find a good price for a new contrast cut.

Got the brake from Amazon $365.14. Best price I could find for the contrast cut caliper. (black with reverse cut PM logo) Scoot is on the road again.
