OK the new tire and bearings are all done. I also replaced the rear brake rotor, the stock one was grooved quite a bit.
It only had 10K miles on it and I had used only the soft organic-dusty pads. I have put on a Sunstar floating rotor and new sintered bronze pads-same as on front.
I have bled the brakes several times, thought I had a air bubble. The system bleeds down, I get a hard pedal and the pads stop the bike. But if you go faster than walking speed the pedal goes right down to the stop and no brake at all ?
I have bled brakes before and had no problems. Any ideas ?
