Hey guys, im in the need for one battery.
I ve owned 2 brailles and i would give them an A+, last and actual one lasted 36 months exaçtly, (never on a tender btw and firing up at the 1st try :D) but have recently read some really good comments about the Tomioka by my guy 5-5.

Have any other member have used the Tomioka? Your experience??

Thanks.

stay with what you know sounds like the Braille served you well. Installed Braille beginning of season. Unfortunately bike recently has been sitting for over a month, no tender. Started right up like brand new this past weekend!

I have had good luck with my Braille.
I have no experience with the tomioka.
The bike even starts in the pouring rain with the Braille.

Richie... I'm rolling up on 18 months with the Tomioka... still cranks like new.... I originally had it in my 03 Pitbull and then put it in my K9... I had the Braille in my pitbull, and when starting it would struggle to get through the compression stroke (no compression releases) the Tomioka would cycle right through it... to this day I still dont use a battery tender.

Both good batteries, but my next purchase will be another Tomioka

I had a Big Boar 350 for my last battery. It lasted 3 years. Replaced it after extensive research with the Tomioka. TheTomioka blows the Big Boar away for cranking power (I don't have compression releases). I've had it about 6 months now. Can't say enough good things about it.

I have been running a Tomioka for the last two months. My last battery was a harley softail....it only lasted a year and a half.
I have a good feeling this Tomioka will be a good one!

I put the Tomioka in my mastiff. Fired up immediately. Never had it on a tender. If it sat 2 weeks it was still quick starting. I put it in my new bike and fires right up. No tender on that either. Expensive battery but seems worth it.

I just got a Braille, but the Tomioka sure sounds like a great battery too. Just for reference, what is the model # for the Tomioka? Braille is B2015

Thanks,
Brad

Are the compression releases on the top of the rocker boxes?

Tomioka Racing TR-B1500 15 lbs / 6.8Kg Performance Light-Weight Battery [TR-B150 EDO Performance

Try that one. The B1100 is only 5.9" wide. The B1500 with the 465cca is 6.9 wide. The battery tray in my Chopper is 7".

I knew we wanted the B1500. I just couldn't find a place still in business selling it.

Bill, did you buy yours from these guys(edo)? when I was looking I called them repeatedly for some conformation over which model was right. (that 465cca working without a downside sounded too good to be true). I never got a return phone call or email. So I blew them off.
