Braille Melt Down !

Well i went out to start the scoot the other day...hit the start button and heard the starter grunting as it was struggling to get through the compression stroke
(no compression releases) then "click" click" from the starter.
I thought to myself "loose connection" removed the seat and took a looksy .... crap!! ground connection must of been loose because it melted the lead negative post down the side of the battery and there my cable stood in mid air as if it was exposed to a nuclear blast....I love my Braille Battery:2thumbs:

Well I call to order another Braille from our local distributor and he tells me Theres something better i'm thinking shut the hell up ... nothing better than a Braille...:loony::loony:

Well no bull shit .... this is one bad ass battery...made in the USA by the same company as Braille and it kicks ass
(bought it) "465 CCA" more power than the Braille and same dimensions and one model is "500CCA" let me cut out all the story telling here it is ...oh yeah 2 yr warranty

Good info, I got up this morning to ride up to Idlewild and my bike wouldn't start. HD battery only 7 months old but has taken a beating this year. Put it on a stronger charger and it fired up and ran well all day. But still it's about done I'm sure. I will look into this further

It's strange how some of our dogs go through batteries so fast and others get 2 or more years out them. Rocky's Mastiff has had the same battery for over 2 years (HD battery) and my Pitbull does well to get 7 or 8 months. Sometimes as little as 2 or 3 months. My last battery was a Braille. Been in there about 3 months and doing great so far. Only time will tell. I do remember reading where the Tender Jr. was not designed for AGM batteries and that is what I have always used. Rocky has the HD tender. Maybe there really is something to that. Maybe it would be a good project to send out a poll to see how long your last battery lasted and what type tender is being used. Never created a poll on here so I'll leave that to anyone that may be interested. Just thought there might be something to learn from that.

I use the Battery Tender Plus at home and carry the Jr model when I'm on the road. But I think my Plus isn't working well now, it's old.
