:hi: Gasman, once again, this sounds like a good job for you since you have the phoenix broke down and are just about to the plumbing part of the rebuild. but then again it would only be good for the chopper.:cheers: :2thumbs:

Jimizee;

I assume you're talking about fuel lines. They are 5/16"

what is the advantage of having these? I realise braided brake lines are better because they keep the pressure better without the line expanding - is it the same thing for fuel lines?

Fuel Line is 5/16" and cross-over between tanks sides is 1/4" vent hose which attaches to carb is same as file 5/16". I have changed out all mine along with installing the Doherty Powerpac.

shit... I don't have those sizes off the top of my head...

5/16th fuel line
??? carb drain line
??? rear head vent
??? front head vent

I do remember that the drain line was a sheething bought on ebay and you slide over aquariam air hose

The front head vent was bought on ebay for RC cars

Low Down Chop Shop
Drag Specialties has the stainless braided covering and some shops have it in stock. They come in a small roll to buy or the dealer can order a 25' roll to sell by the foot. I got it at my dealer.
If you can't find it, I can pick it up for you and if you cover just the Paypal fees I'll send it to you. That way you can get what you need by the foot.
