Bracket for V&H Big Radius

I have a set of V&H Big Radius 2/2 for my 2005 Pitbull. I have the #26003 for the softtail and the bracket that came withthe pipes is not going to work. I ordered one from V&H and thay said it would need some modifications.

Has anyone here modified th V&H bracket part # 394-P?

Any suggestions or advice?

I didn't like how the Bracket for my 05 Mastiff made the pipes stick out so far and they would not line up evenly. So i made my own bracket out of a 1/2" piece of aluminum. drilled it to match the forward controls and polished it...

I think I still have the bracket that I made when I installed a set on my 05 before BDM came out with theirs. If you still need it I can look for it this weekend and send it out to you monday????

Don't know how heavy the BR are but the worst to happen would be broken exhaust studs as I've had it happen twice now when my Stainless Creation pipes break. Pain in the ass.

Can't you offset the bracket with some washers or does it need to be "narrower"?

No problem, mine is made for a Ridgeback so the should be very close to the same, I modified the original bracket and just painted it a flat black color. I know about where it is so just send me your addy and I'll box it up and ship it on Monday......
