BR pipes

If anyone is curious as I was to hear what the BR exhaust sounds like without the baffles, don't be. Sounds like shit. I cut my baffles down to about 5" the sound is better but I'm still not impressed. Anyone running straight drags maybe 1 7/8" dia? What brand? The BR's are 2"dia....too large in my opinion to get a good drag pipe sound.

Thanks for that. I actually did wonder. I have same pipes with Big City Thunder baffles in em. Good sound. I scraped the pipes enough now that I can lean over a little more in a right turn. :whoop:

I have BR2-2 with Big City Thunder and all the stock baffles I could fit. Very happy with sound. Not hollow and tinny.

Jerry, what size did you put in. I am thinking of doing the same thing. Trying to get a little deeper sound.

Has anyone ever run 1 7/8" pipes on there S&S 117"? As I said, the 2" BR's are too large to run without baffles sounds hollow. I'm thinkin that an 1 7/8" pipe on a 117" should give enough back pressure as not to lose too much torque, and the 1 7/8" gives a much better sound then the 2" Thoughts?
