I think, i got a decent price on it, $28K out the door...but I think i could have maybe gotten it for less. I had another dealer with a $26,750 offer, but it wasn't the color I wanted. This dealer in Las Cruces Has about 6 more big dogs that have very good prices on them.

I got the Bulldog home and have begun making the required modifications. Frame stickers off, reflectors off, butt plugs removed out of exhaust......

This may be a stupid question, but what is the start procedure for the EFI engine? (the dealership didn't have an owners manual)

If you remove the battery the procedure is under the seat.

When I start the EFI K9 1) I turn the key on and let the speedometer complete the sweep. 2) Hit run switch and wait till the fuel pump brings up pressure / till you hear it stop running. 3) Hit start button.

Im not exactly sure what you mean by removing the battery and the instructions are there?? I have had both the seat and battery out and didn't seen anything. I do have a new battery ordered because the battery the bike came with, a Bikemaster BTX20L, barely has enough oomph to get it started. Doesn't my bike have an electronic compression release?

There's still a few brand new Bulldogs out there for sale at former BDM dealerships, and I'd dearly love to have one! :yesnod:

BUT, at $40K-plus..I gotta pass...:zzdisappointed:

Yea, there are dealers that still think they have a bar of gold on their hands and are asking $35 to $40K for one, but they are on drugs!:loony: A more realistic price is $25-$28K for a new one. I paid $28K OTD for mine and I had a couple more quoted to me for $27K.:2thumbs:
