Bolt size for 05 Ridgeback rear peg mount..

Does anyone know the exact bolt size for the 2005 rear peg mount on Ridgeback?

I've tried 3/8 x 16 (starts to thread then stops-also tried 3/8 x 24)
I've also tried M10s (don't start at all)

and length/type of bolt?

It should be 3/8-16
Sounds like you need to tap the hole first to clean it up

Yup..... same problem I had when installing the peg adapters.... listen to Kaptin.

I'll get my theeading kit out. My only concern was, it had the peg mount on there before I bought the bike (dealer took them off??), so I was a bit concerned...

Just to make sure, I'm attaching a pic of what it is doing to my 3/8-16 bolt after 3 turns.....give me your opinion....

Yeap looks like a dirty hole. Ream that hole out with a tap and you should be good to go.
