Everytime I hear this song it reminds me of the woman who raised me she was only a grandma but she raised me and I still think of her as mom. She saved me from a mother who honestly has no bearing in my life. The night she passed I downed a bottle and a 1/2 of vodka listening to in this river, passed out in my garage face down and woke the next morning to get on a flight to bury my mom. been over a year but still can't let go.. heard this song tonight and it brought me back to the garage days. Thanks for listening

Sorry Paul, I know several of us understand exactly what you are feeling with the loss of someone close. I listened to the your song,and I understand. My Father lost his life in an on the job accident, a lineman for the electric company, when I was 4 years old in 1962, long time ago. I really can't say I remember him, but I still miss him, as you do your Mom. I havea song on my computer and in my truck I listen too. The first time I heard it, it shook me, but made me feel better at the same time. I'll put it here, in hopes it makes you feel better as well. There is a guy talking at the first of it, then the song begins to play. Hope it makes you feel better brother. I listen to it every once in a while cause I need to. Helps me make sense of it all, anyway.
