Chrome (almost) flush mount
I got a spare 'key' from Landmark and took the paint saver rings off no problem.
Make sure you use something to trap all the crud/sealant they use to lock them in place.
Drain your tank first, then use a dust mask which you hold in place with the elastic band. If you still get some pieces of junk in the tank (I did) you'll be able to get it out with a piece of tape on the end of a telescopic magnet or mechanical fingers.
I didn't use pop up gas caps so I can't help with the application there, I scored some chrome gas caps from ET performance and they are sweet. Not very fancy or spikey but I like them and sometimes, less is more.
Fit perfectly, without paint saver rings, and the look is awesome!
Scored these babies a couple of years ago from et-performance.
Welcome to ET Performance !
Here's what they look like. This pic is off the et site but they DO fit that flush!
Here's a pic of them on my bike. You can get an idea of how close to the tank they sit. The chrome finish on this is still like the day I bought them almost 4 years ago. I got a vented and non-vented version and they come with O-rings and seal really good.
Hope this helps.
