Biker's Dreams

So I wanted everyone to know I dropped the chopper off with Steve at Biker's Dreams up in Alpharetta GA, after my laying it down. Steve made me feel very comfortable and assured me that my bike would be better than it was when it came in. We went over everything he could see (which was a lot) and all of my options on the pieces that had options. He made sure that I knew there were likely going to be some things come up that we can't see but he would let me know as they came up.
I know I'm in good hands and I'm gonna try not to be the kind of customer that would drive any service manager insane....lol. I'll keep you guys here in the Southeast on how good everything goes...So far 2 big Thumbs up!!

I can tell you that some of the paint repair that Steve showed me is really amazing.

I am with Iman. I ride 5 hours to have Steve do the 10,000 lookover to make sure I haven't missed anything. He has a great eye for catching easily overlooked issues.

Have you checked with BDM performance, I think they got a new shipment of sissy bars in.

Steve has helped me in the past with my bike. They do a great JOB. Lannie has helped me with parts as well. They are always a great bunch of peeps to talk to. I like going in the back as well where you get to see all the other goodies. =)

Just an Update on how Biker's Dreams is doing ....I dropped the chopper off Jan 29th and insurance just approved the repair order because it was very close to being totaled. It really didn't look bad at all. Check should be here by Mon or Tues and I'll sign it and get started...she's gonna be like brand new. I'm going to upload some crappy pics I took after I dropped it off later tonight

My family and I have been thanking God and I have to say I'm so glad my accident didn't happen in traffic like so many others have.

I'll keep you guys posted...

I looked at other paint schemes but haven't found anything yet...what do you guys think? Should I leave it alone?

I'm sure there are some really sick paint jobs on choppers out there but I really like it just like it is

Got to Biker's Dreams today to surprise Steve with the check from the insurance company and found he had already begun taking the bike apart. I know the next few weeks will be long but I also know Steve is gonna take excellent care of my dog.
Some of the new parts:
Handlebars
Forks
Pegs and Grips
Forward Controls
Handlebar Controls
Headlight
Mirrors
Primary Cover (inner and outer)
Paint (Gary Stroud)
Wheels

Update: Steve called today and all is well but apparently they are having trouble with extended forward controls. From what I understand, the company that makes them for BD is no longer making them (due to lack of payment?)
But Steve was able to locate a new set for me. Bike should be done in a week or two...if RB Racing will get off their ass and send my exhaust lol.
