Here's some suggestions:
HARLEY - P/N: 65989-97C About $124.00
DEKA P/N: ETX20L About $94.00 on Amazon
BRAILLE P/N: B2015 About $185.00

Which ever one you by, put it on a charge for a few hours before using...

Well, it wasn't the battery. Bought a brand new Duracell with 310cca. Started right up so I figured problem solved. Went for a ride and stopped for a rest and what do you know...same damn problem. I'm thinking it has to be the starter, an issue with the run/start button or an ehc issue. Oh the joys of dog ownership. Hopefully this fall/winter/spring I'll have the starter gone through and a new ehc. Nothing like having a hot rod that won't start when my ol lady is waiting for me with her running vstar 650. Fml.

Did you charge the battery before installing? What is the voltage reading on the battery while it's running?
Get your Multi Meter out and check the voltage while it's running, if it is dropping while it's running check your 40 amp circuit breaker to be sure it is not tripped, that happened to me and the way I knew was my ESC has the fault light sensor on it. So if it is charging rev it up and make sure you don't go over 14.5 volts or so, if your voltage regulator is bad it might have thrown the circuit breaker.

I would say:
1- Run/Start button not making good contact
2- ign switch going bad or lose wire
3- bad solenoid or wire going to it

Good luck.
