Left for home Thursday @ 11 am.
One trailer flat in Flordia..in rain ...
Repair.. keep going .. sleep two hours south of Indy @ 5:30AM Friday. Back on road.. Home @ 11 .. sleep 12 to 4 PM .. unloaded tow vehicle.. @ 5 PM reload and drive to Chicago for daughter's birthday...

I didn’t actually get to meet the guy riding it when we were at the River Grille but they were down to Bike Week from Wisconsin. That bike had a really cool military paint job as I recall. By the time Chong & I went looking for the owner they had cut out.View attachment 97768

Oh hell yeah! Looked awesome! Sorry the PO didn’t let you know when he was selling it. Hope it wasn’t a friend. The good news is that the new owner is taking real good care of it! Do you have a BigDog now that you can enjoy?

Unfortunately I have not replaced the chopper when I sold it. After a long cross country trip with the missus to Rolling Thunder in 2012 (through all sorts of crazy weather) and covering about 3K miles total, the missus decided that she had enough of that bike. So, for our two up riding long distance we ended up purchasing a new Ultra Classic in 2014. Shortly thereafter I needed some quick cash and I parted with the Big Dog because an acquaintance who I was let staying at the house during AZ bike week really liked the bike and assured me I would have first dibs on it (for the same price I was letting it go at, which was a steal) if he was going to sell it. He already had several bikes so I figured it wouldn't get used much. I inquired about it over the next few years and then learned last year he sold it without letting me or one his close friends who I know well and who was reminding him of our pact constantly.

So, I do some searching here and there, and if I am lucky, maybe I will find another one. Some pics just prior to selling it.
