bike quit in shop

bike shut down in shop. found harnes that plugs into ech lose, after inpecting found broken screws that hold plug in, zip tied for now will call dealer & discuss,do you need new ech, both screws broke off in ehc

They could be extracted but the ehc needs to come out. Warranty though right?

Same thing happend to me a couple of days ago.

warrenty most likely will cover it. But zip ties would get you through.

new twist on ehc

well this is the first i've herd of, has anyone ever had the wiring harnes directly in front of bat on ehc come off? bike running in shop, just shut off like turning off key, no lights nuttin, removed seat found broken horn bracket, removed it & noticed main harness plug loose pluged it in & everything worked, well tried to find out how it unpluged whenit has screws that hold it in, after a closer look screws broke off in ehc, put a zip tie on it for now, talked to dealer, thay want to see it to order a new ehc & wire harness, is this common? only have 1500 miles on the bike, lets here it from all those experts!!out there
