Bike just stalls

Anybody have an ideal why my bike would just die driving down the street. Let it set for 10 minutes and it fires back up and will drive another 20 miles and die again. Almost feels like it's running out of gas.

I had a similar problem with my 05 Bulldog, I checked the vent on the gas cap, that was not it, ended up bypassing my EHC and basically hot wiring the bike, the only problem is you don't need the key to start it, you have to mount a switch somewhere to get power to your ignition, pretty simple to do and after that I never had a problem again.
Check this out, maybe it will help, look at page 3 and read through the posts, http://www.bigdogbiker.com/forums/i...o-reason.html?highlight=bypassing+EHC:cheers:

I didn't throw the white piece away , I cleaned it , cut the spring in half, reused it ..
(it is also a no spill vent)

Throw it away, or the problem will happen again. It was someone's better idea, gone wrong.
