Bike just shut down

Energy One

Looking forward to retirement
Was running 75mph and gave it more throttle , bike died backfired then took off again. Did this 6-7 times so I slowed down to 50 and it stopped. Alarmed I headed towards my moms house. Got 4 blocks away and the bike just quit. Turned key off and on. No lights nothing turned on & off switch and key on & off again. Then had lights cluster. Fired up bike and went 3 blocks. Then dead again. This time nothing will come back. Checked batter connections and there tight! WTF!?????

I was going to say / thinking ground wire you beat me to it. When I put this new Braille battery in mine I put a drop of blue locktite on the bolts to hopefully keep them from backing off , so far so good, but I haven't been able to ride much this year. Glad you found it !

Blue loctite is an insulator. Use lock washers instead........even if you have to get a longer bolt to make room.

I use longer bolts (watch they don't bottom out) and star washers. I did use loctite once but decided it could be a bad idea (I want a good solid clean connection) so I cleaned it off.
