bike bogging?

i have an 08 k-9 efi. from previous posts of mine i'm sure you know that i have had problems.. now that i have my bike back its been popping a little from the exhaust. don't know if its just the big radius pipes or not. this weekend i noticed when the bike was stuck in traffic and it heated up it would run like a flooded two stroke. is this normal? and does anyone else have this problem?

The EFI is probably going into misfire mode due to the temperature rise. I have posted the misfire rate here somewhere depending on the head temperature. It is normal if you think that it is normal. It is the way of the EFI programming to protect the motor.

"Popping a little" when does this happen - upon de-acceleration? If so that sounds acceptable.
You mentioned it just started - does that happen all the time. Does that mean you can reproduce the symptoms at will or certain contitions apply - like, after bike heats up, only at 75mpg, between 2500-3000 RPM...
More details will help with the troubleshooting.

had recent popping on deceleration, V & Hines coming loose. Check exhaust bracket
