So I recently bought a set of used Hooker Troublemaker pipes off of bkingjr and recieved a decent set of pipes at a great price. Then I started looking at some of the exhaust threads to get some background info on installing these pipes and found a couple posts refering to how they mount using the bracket and hardware.
Bracket & Hardware????What Bracket & Hardware??? All I have are the pipes.....LOL
So I started looking for anyone who had a bike just like mine with the same Troublemaker pipes, and I ran across 08ridgid (Xavier). I P.M.ed him asking about his install and how he liked the pipes, and also about the bracket I didnt have. I asked him if he could send me some pics as I am good at metal fabrication but had no idea what this bracket looked like. He tells me that he has a bracket laying around in his garage that he could send me. I tell him that I will send him a check to cover shipping, cost of the part, and to cover for his time and effort. He replies "Hey Greg, who said anything about $$$? Just tell me where to send it and I'll get it out to you today no problem. I need to clear off some shelf space around here anyway."
Well, how can I argue with that.......:lol:
So.........got this yesterday...... It's alot more than just a bracket.
So this is what 08ridged sends me without so much as even asking for a dime.......... Just a very unselfish gesture to a fellow Big Dog owner.
I think this shows the type of members we have on this forum, and I hope to continue on the fine example that Xavier has set.....:2thumbs:
