Picked up my K-9 last week with an electical issue(of course). Called Curtiss, he answered the phone, asked for my email and sent me a service manual. He told me he thought my issue was going to end up being a voltage regulator. He was right. Stator passed, battery passed, key switch passed, VR failed both the continuity and diode test using a meter. It was the original however with nearly 20k miles. Not too bad for a Chinese knock-off(ugh). Sent Curtiss a message yesterday a.m. He calls at lunch and has my new Made in the U.S.A. Compufire regulator on its way. Should be here tomorrow or Thursday. That's what I call service.

Curtis is definitely top notch... I received a manual from him as well over the weekend, when trying to diagnose some electrical issue as well... spoke with him today about the RIP kit...I know some of my questions come off as Dumb Ass.. He was extremely informative on my questions... When I thanked him for his time and information, his reply was "that's what we're here for"
