Big dogs with small stomachs

I have been searching the forums and see that a lot of folks have issues with the limited reserve that get them 2-5 miles down the road. Folks, I live in TX, 2-5 miles is nothing when your traveling I-35 or I-10. I've also been surfing the web for bigger after market gas tanks. I see all kinds of tanks for HD's, Suzuki, Yamaha, etc.. But nothing for Bigdogs. Could you imagine a 5.5 gal tank on a K-9 with a 1.0 reserve? I know noticed that Bigdog when from a 3.8 2005 chopper tank to a 4.4 gal tank (forum ref ). Does anyone know of a place that has bigger tanks for our dogs? If so, please post your URL and comments.

Do you have the DT frame or the RT? You can try contacting each of these frame manufactureres and see what they have to offer otherwise you are stuck like me carring a spare can in my pack.

As for the intro.. been riding since I was 7 (honda 50), started jumping ditches, rock piles at 7.5.. and I have been indulging my addition to spending time on two wheels ever since. My body can't handle the jumps any more, but it still loves the speed.

I see a lot of postings with great info, but I don't see many URL's helping folks with hard part of any issue/project/upgrade.. where do I get the stuff that I need to fix the issue, complete the project or upgrade. We can all use google or let our fingers do the walking in the Yellow pages, but if you know of a good place. Share..
