How fortuitous.! So, I asked the Officer if he would speak directly with the insurance supervisor (decision maker) and he did. You just can't get better than that.!

No disrespect and not trying to ruffle any feathers...but why is this in the Big Dogs Unleashed thread? Everytime I see it pop up...I get excited to see if the video is done. Yet I find an update on Butch's bike situation. Can't this be in a different thread?

Again, Butch I hope everything works out and I am sorry for your troubles. I mean no harm.

I have been following this thread in hopes of seeing the video myself. Hope it doesn't turn out to be a "B" movie... just kidding.

Well, ... I was planning on going to the 'Unleashed' event and teach some marksmanship if anybody wanted.... Then this whole 'stolen' bike thing started... and evolved ... as I was not going to be able to go unless I got my bike back. Well; that 'issue' has started turning around for me,,, and hopefully the bad guy and gal go to jail. Cops have awakened to my predicament and are now taking action.

Video update:

Hi everybody. Just a quick update on the anniversary party video here. Please keep in mind Mike is working with many hours of footage and must shrink it down to a matter of minutes. Our developmental process has been to divide the footage into the major segments:
1.) Riding footage
2.) camaraderie Footage
3.) Shooting Footage
4.) Commentary
5.) Everything else.
  • 8/12--Mike had the rough-cut of the riding footage done and the audio track laid on top of it.
  • 8/17--Mike had the rough-cut of the shooting footage done and audio.
Our target is to have everything ready for final-edit, mastering, and review by Sept 16 and ready to publish by the end of Sept.

I should note the finished-video will not necessarily be broken down as I mentioned above...I simply wanted to share how Mike organizes the massive amount of footage when he is editing. He is the only one with the vision on how it will all flow together on the finished product.

Hell I think it would be cool if he was just able to upload the raw video no editing and no music for us (I know it's about 1 HR) Some people might like scrolling through it myself included.

Then obviously the edited video will be a cool summary and some marketing material for ya

That's what I was thinking Matt. Let me know if Mike has an FTP I can pull it down from I'm willing to do that and then work with Tim to maybe host the video here. I don't want to waste Mikes time and your dollars for that. Unless of course he has a better idea.
