I stayed up with a few other guys that got there late until about 8 the next morning.. the next night us few were the only ones worth a damn.. everyone else was sittin around drinking soda n water.. moral of the story is.. be easy the first night... lol

Just as an FYI... For whoever is riding in the paved route is on their website.

Directions to Flint Oak

Directions to Flint Oak

From Wichita, go east on U.S. 400 (formerly K-96) to the Fall River turnoff (mile marker 347-348). Turn south through the town of Fall River to the “T” in the road. Turn right and take the paved road west and south about 5 miles to a second “T.” Turn right and go ½ mile to the entry of Flint Oak.

Major improvements in roadways to Flint Oak have made visiting our country retreat a breeze. In 2002 an all-weather road was completed between U.S. Hwy 400 at the Fall River turnoff and the entry to Flint Oak. Earlier the state completed widening U.S. 400 to a "Super Two" between Wichita and Joplin making our major highway access road far more scenic and safe for travel.
