Wiring? I find that rather confusing. Let me try and understand. There's a wiring standard in the US that's unacceptable down under? Isn't wiring just wiring? Is this something to do with 220 vs 110 voltage? A converter for the charger would take care of that. Is the down under standard for the battery system based on 12V?

OK, i've converted 2 bikes to UK spec, and a very helpful guy [Jochen] in Germany has converted his Pitbull to EU spec. What are you struggling with? Lighting, i bet?

Dutchess, we have another member here from down under that has a scoot maybe get a hold of him and see what he had done. He's from Bisbane the area that had the big flood. Sorry, if I spelled it wrong...

yes,

our rear lights are like this:
rear light: red
Brake light: red
Turn indicators: YELLOW
NO!!! combined Turn-Brake lights allowed!!!!!!!!!!!

We guys in Europe have to use "E"-marked lights - it's like your DOT in US. So we have to change the headlight and all indicators/rear lights to a "legal" one.

And so we have an additional circuit as the combined turn/brake light is not allowed. Somewhat tricky with the EHC....

Funny that you guys from down under have to go through this shit like we here.......

Use the "search" here and post questions if there are any left.

has to be the rear lighting - been there done that. I don't know how he did it exactly but the bloke who sorted mine out rigged up some temporary indiactors to get it through.

custom dynamics do a great cluster with dual intensity red leds in the middle with an amber ring on the outside - I have them on the Dog and have just got some for my build too - they're great but I don't think will work with the EHC

In the UK, i run the original side/stop lamps [both red] at the rear, with additional LED amber indicators. I have had to add a single LED at the front, as a back-up side lamp. Here, the hazard lights have to function with ignition on AND off, so that took a bit of work!!!

It will be the rear lights, bigbear on the sunshine coast (australia ) sell the tail lights that have orange as well as red in them or harley have them as well on the nightsters , not cheap though
