Hey guys I know my posts are few and far between. However I just replaced the original battery. The new battery is a DEKA with 310 CCA. The battery is fully charged and has been tested. Now the bike will not do anything; no lights; no nothing. I even replaced the ignition switch. Will a failed EHC have this symptom? Just for grins I have tried other batteries. Appreciate the help, Coop.

I have a 2010 Bagger and it did that when it was cold..this was an early symptom of the ECH failing, so I replaced it with an aftermarket. In my case, the ECH would not do anything when it was cold (45 or so). When I heated it with a blow dryer, it would blink on and was good to go.
You could reach out to Mr. Wright and he’ll check your ECH to confirm this is the issue. I know your bike has the X-Wedge engine, but I’m thinking the ECH should be similar to other BDM models.

Are you sure that you reconnected ALL the wires to the right spot on the battery?
Have you checked Fuse or circuit breaker.
This sounds more basic than an EHC failure.
Both my EHC's failed cold, but always did somethings lights flash etc.

I agree. Sounds like you missed a wire when you hooked it back up.
Appreciate you all jumping right into this. Yes I thought about missing a wire also. But I don't see any loose wires that could go to the battery. There are two wires on minus side of battery and three on plus side, one of which is for the battery tender. There is a 40 amp fuse and a 25 amp fuse. Both test good with an ohm meter. I pulled the two relays on right side of bike. I tested those and could hear them activating. I'll keep plugging along, Coop.

What type of ignition switch did you use?

I’m going to assume that all wires were hooked up correctly, as I change my battery After my bike has set for two years. I reconnected all wires and absolutely nothing. I first considered the ignition switch, but I’m doubtful that is the problem. The breaker is not tripped. But absolutely no lights on the ECH. Mine is a 117 so wondering if it’s the ignition module or ech. It appears it’s a simple fix, but electronics seems simple but a nightmare finding it.

If all else is good and you are not getting lights at the EHC then the likely hood is that the inbound Buss of the EHC has been burned out
It can be caused by attempting to jump the bike off a running vehicle or an over sized jump box but more often is caused by the crap Voltage Regulator Big Dog was using.
