Looks like Colemans plan to retain the building and the equipment to produce bikes in the future is most likely done...

I was just thinkin', why isnt he here? There isn't one reason for him to not have a presence here, and about a zillion reasons why he should. Who is the highest up in what used to be BDM with a presence here?

Just wondering...

:bang:There goes another piece of the great USA which includes the American Dream of Built in America by Americans. I am still keeping the faith that Coleman will be back.

This building is just one of the several BD had so hopefully they'll have the room to start production again one day.....

I think its the warehouse where they stored all the bikes. The main building with all the tooling, offices, and showroom are being kept. But then again who knows.

If they did not use the building since October of 2010 and they closed in May of 2011 I think the space had not been used since the good old days when they were making 3,000 bikes a year. When they start up again on a smaller scale they will lean and mean.

Keepin` The Faith

I`m with you Nukeranger. I, as well as many others, will be keeping the faith that Coleman will be back building Big Dog Motorcycles again in all of their glory.

Probably some of the painters or mechanics. Maybe an electrical engineer.Oh yea, can't forget the parts guys.

If they can get sales going over seas then they may have a chance to hang on. But if they rely solely on the US it isn't going to happen. The US's good old days are gone for at least a while if not for good.
